Ask for it in plain words

"Make a routine that summarises every invoice in the invoices folder." GENI sets it up and shows it to you.

What can start a routine

  • A time: every day at 08:00, every hour, Monday at 09:00, every 30 minutes.
  • A new file in a folder.
  • New mail, for example from one sender.
  • Another routine finishing.
  • A change in your code, like a push or a new issue.

Careful when nobody watches

A routine runs while nobody is looking, so it stays offline: it does not browse, send mail or make calls. Anything beyond reading asks your yes first, on your phone. Every event runs at most once.

When the computer was off

On Desktop, a missed run is caught up as soon as your computer is back, and GENI says it was a catch-up. Runs older than a day are skipped: last week's briefing helps nobody.

The morning briefing

Each morning GENI collects what changed, what failed and what waits for your yes, and brings it up when you talk. If nothing changed, it says so.
