new powers

13 October · a new look

GENI's own wordmark and icon, taken from its command deck and its film.

12 October · GENI in its own app

GENI now runs entirely inside the desktop app, with a Windows installer that needs no administrator. Connections became add-ons you switch on per installation.

11 October · it fixes itself

When GENI trips over a fault of its own, it traces the cause, writes a test that proves the fault, makes the smallest fix and ships it once the test passes.

10 October · big jobs

  • Hand over a big job with a budget you approve once. GENI works through the steps and stops when the budget runs out.
  • Long jobs carry on after a restart, from the step they were on.
  • Its own media workshop: video, sound and music, put together on its server.

8 and 9 October · everywhere

  • GENI as an app on your phone, with a notification when an approval waits.
  • Link a device with a six-digit code, and revoke them all from one overview.
  • Reach your own GENI from outside through a secure tunnel; it checks it is never open without a login.
  • Approval cards show the recipient and the amount, never a secret.

5 and 6 October · the new command deck

  • A new command deck: everything at a glance, the face on a world of light, ten themes.
  • The first conversation: GENI interviews you and sets itself up around your business.
  • Hand gestures in front of your camera, recognised on your own machine.

1 October · on your phone, on its own

  • Talk to GENI through chat, with voice notes both ways.
  • Routines that start on their own: a file, new mail, another job finishing.
  • Mail sorted, with drafted replies for leads, customers and support.
  • A brain per role: fast for talk, strong for planning, cheap for the background.
  • A third answer on every approval: "no, do it like this".

30 September · memory that comes along

With every message GENI fetches the memories that fit, without being asked.

28 September · it calls

GENI calls you when something cannot wait, and calls people in its address book to pass on a message.

27 September · its own tools

When a tool is missing, GENI writes one. It runs only after you approve that exact version, sealed off from the internet, your files and your keys.

25 September · your yes

Everything that leaves the building or cannot be undone now passes a gate in the code, and waits for your yes.

6 September · everything on record

Every conversation is written down, with every tool and every result, and keys stripped out.

August · GENI takes the controls

GENI became the layer that runs the system: it drives its own screen, works in a browser you share, and shows every step while it works.
