// The basics

What it is

What is GENI?

A super intelligence that runs work for you: your business, your inbox, your projects and your day. It talks, uses your computer and the web, works with a team of specialist agents, remembers why things were decided, and stops for your yes before anything goes out.

How is it different from a chatbot?

A chatbot gives you an answer and leaves the work to you. GENI does the work: it opens the program, clicks the button, writes the mail, checks the result and tells you when it is done. The screen is where you watch it work.

Do I need to be technical?

No. You talk to it the way you would to a colleague. Desktop installs like any other program, Self-hosted is one install command, and Hosted needs nothing from you.

Which computers does it run on?

The desktop app, and GENI working your programs, run on Windows today. You can talk to GENI and approve from any modern browser and from your phone.

Which languages does it speak?

English today. More languages, Dutch first, are in the workshop and arrive in the same voice.

// Cost

What you pay

What does it cost?

A licence for Desktop or Self-hosted, for 12 months or lifetime, or a subscription for Hosted. Prices follow at launch: request access and you hear them first.

And the AI itself?

You bring the brain. Pay your AI provider directly at their price, use the subscription you already have, or run a free model on your own machine. We add nothing on top.

Can I try it first?

Yes. Ask for a 48-hour pilot key. We read every request and issue the keys ourselves, after a short call.

What happens when my licence ends?

A 12-month licence gets reminders 30 and 7 days before, and 7 days of grace after. Renew and it carries on; otherwise GENI stops, and you can still export all your data. A lifetime licence keeps working for good.

// Control

Trust and safety

Can GENI do something without asking me?

It does ordinary work on its own, like reading, writing files and browsing. Anything that leaves the building or cannot be undone waits for your yes: sending, paying, publishing, deploying, deleting. That gate is built into the software, not written into a prompt.

Which tools does it connect to?

Your mail, calendar, Drive, Docs and Sheets, your webshop, your sites, your phone and chat, and any tool that offers a standard connection for AI assistants. Missing one? GENI looks for a way in, and tells you what it needs from you.

Can I stop it?

Any time. Talk over it, press stop, or switch a power off. A power you switch off simply does not exist for GENI any more.

What if it makes a mistake?

Every move is on record, so you can see exactly what happened. Correct it once and the correction sticks. Like any AI it can be wrong, so check what matters before you rely on it.

Does it see my passwords?

No. You log in yourself, and a password it needs is typed straight into the field. GENI never sees it and it is never recorded.

Where is my data?

On your computer, on your own server, or on a server of your own that we run. Never shared with other customers. More on the privacy page.

// Choosing

Which way to run it

Desktop, Self-hosted or Hosted?

Desktop works while your computer is on. Self-hosted runs day and night on your own server and can call you. Hosted is the same as Self-hosted, but we set it up and keep it running. Compare all three.

Can GENI call me?

Yes, on Self-hosted and Hosted, when something cannot wait or when you asked for it.

Who makes GENI?

dGEN Labs, from Veldhoven in the Netherlands. We run our own company on it every day.
